Located at a distance of around 16 km from the city centre, the name ‘Kovalam’ means a grove of coconut trees, and the beach town stands true to its name, offering an endless view all over the town off the same. The 17 km of Kovalam’s coastline provides a tourist three separate beaches, the Lighthouse Beach, the Hawa Beach, and the Samudra Beach.
